Good to be True!!
"We at Pop’s love this time of the year; we’ve just finished a great holiday
season thanks to all of our loyal customers. It is also a great time for
closeouts. This is the time of the year when our suppliers attempt to
liquidate (pun intended) their stale inventory. This is another one of those
No wine deal is good at any price if the wine is shot. I can assure that is
not the case here. At under $6.00 a bottle this is killer.
The Cervato consist of Sangiovese 60%, Cabernet Sauvignon 30% and Merlot 10%
all handpicked. The first thing I noticed was the intense ruby red color and
the expressive nose. There are some nice fruity notes and lightly spicy
flavors. It’s softly round and balanced with a delicate, light tannin
finish. It’s ready to drink and at this price, ready to drink a lot. This is
going to go fast!

it's an amazing bang for your buck bottle....."
“A holiday visit to the estate confirms that for me, this is
the standard bearer in California multi-vintage sparklers. It's been
incredibly consistent over a long period of time, which is of course the
goal of such a program. It's easily identifiable in a blind tasting of
domestic counterparts with its crisp apple, pear, citrus zest and stony
minerality, delivered in a bold style with a fine mousse and long finish.
Then there's the fact that it's an amazing bang for your buck bottle, often
available well under list.”

90 points and $7+! and they say it's a "Best Buy" at $10. that's
the understatement of the year!
“This dark, structured wine, with its balanced blend of Touriga Nacional,
Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, is firm with tannins and dense berry fruits.
Full in the mouth, it is a concentrated wine that brings out a strongly
chalky texture. The wine is still moving towards a rich future. Drink from
2017. Best Buy!” ($10)

an invigorating Sauvignon Blanc....."
"Rain Sauvignon Blanc is an invigorating Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough. A
wine that is full of excitement, showing an array of subtle grapefruit, lime
and lemon. Displaying more body than most Marlborough Sauvignons while
maintaining a captivating crispness. There's nothing tart or austere about
this compelling Sauvignon Blanc."

94 points too!!
“You should expect to see this well-priced wine on restaurant lists
everywhere soon. It's solidly proper Cabernet Sauvignon, showing blackberry,
currants, soft fall spice and faint dried herb aromas and flavors, with
lively food friendly acidity and a long finish that will pair well with a
range of dishes. You can impress your friends by going to the middle of the
wine list and selecting a wine that will outperform some of the wines
costing two or three times as much. A Platinum Award winner at the 2015
Sommelier Challenge International Wine Competition.” ($28)
