"..... A polished sagrantino ....."
..... 93 points too!!

“I like the aromas of almonds, dried fruits and mushrooms that follow through to a full body. Lots of shaved-chocolate character too. Long, flavorful finish. A polished sagrantino. Give it a year or two to soften.”
93 points, James Suckling, November 2015

"..... this is a brilliant Chardonnay ....."
..... 94 points too!!

“John Kongsgaard told me that when the unfiltered Chardonnay from Newton was first launched in the early 1980s, the fruit came entirely from what is now the Judge Vineyard of Kongsgaard. No wonder that wine was so spectacular in those days. It also had an incredible aging curve as well. This wine continues to be a strong effort. The 2013 Chardonnay Unfiltered exhibits notes of white peach, honeysuckle and some brioche in a medium to full-bodied, lusciously fruity, rich, complex and full style. It doesn’t have the minerality of the old days of the early 1980s, but this is a brilliant Chardonnay, representing one of Napa’s finest efforts.”

"..... spicy details, cherries, violets, and hints of oak....."
..... 93 points too!!
“A blend from fruit grown in Mainque, in the heart of Río Negro, this includes grapes from the estate’s vineyards planted in 1932. While it’s the simplest of the Noemía wines, it is also the most adorable and fruity. It’s juicy and refreshing, lively, full of spicy details, cherries, violets, and hints of oak. The texture is soft and tender, the wine ready to drink with the dark meat of roast turkey or other game meat.“

"..... generous helpings of dark color, spicy aromas, concentrated flavors ....."
..... 91 points too!!

“This wine is a bold but well-mannered blockbuster that serves generous helpings of dark color, spicy aromas, concentrated flavors and a luxurious dry texture. It needs full-flavored, rich food to accompany it, and will deliver a lot of pleasure under those circumstances. Best to drink now through 2020. Editors’ Choice!”

"..... Highly Recommended!....."
..... 94 points too!!

“This generous red shows a traditional character, with leafy, dried herb, tea and spice notes framing dried cherry, licorice and leather flavors. Firm tannins and balsamic acidity impart structure, and this shows plenty of depth, with a juicy, spicy finish. Drink now through 2025. Highly Recommended!”

"..... concentrated, complex fruit and earth flavors ....."
"It’s kind of Ironic in an era when so many Pinot Noir’s are tasting more and more like Shiraz, that one of my favorite under 20$ classic style Pinot Noirs comes from Australia the land of Shiraz. Best’s Vineyards is one of the pioneers of high quality Pinot Noir production in Victoria, a cooler, coastal region of Australia. This medium to full bodied Pinot is very impressive showing a good balance of crisp acidity, concentrated, complex fruit and earth flavors, a medium level of silky tannins and a long finish. An outstanding wine - this is among the best Pinot Noirs I have ever tasted from Australia!"
