"The Dow Jones Inexpensive Merlot Index
In a tasting of 50 American Merlots that cost less than $20, these were our
favorites....prices of these can be quite flexible -- we paid $8.47 for
Blackstone at one store and $15.99 at another,
Good/Very Good. Best value (tie). Honest fruit, and more stuffing than most,
with minerals, earth, good tannins, lemony acidity and a clean,
mouth-watering finish."

The
Vermeer Story.......
"We took in Vermeer seven years ago to try it out. It sold
decently and gained a cult following. About that time, the importers of
Vermeer attended the New York Chocolate Show to present their product. They
brought along a laptop tuned to our web-site in case anyone wanted to buy
the product. We came in the following Monday and found 46 cases worth of
orders........ We've never seen a sampled product that produced these
kinds of results! We became the largest single retailer of Vermeer in the
United States. Then, much to our frustration, we went through a period of a
couple of years when we couldn't get the product, despite our efforts to
import it ourselves. Now, it's finally back!"

"Trago Reposado tequila is "rested" for four months in American oak
barrels to smooth the flavor. It's aroma is fruity upon first pour, as the
flavor remains toasty while reflecting an oaky/vanilla sweetness mixed with
a bit of pepper. Trago Reposado makes an exceptional premium margarita or
you can enjoy its rich taste on the rocks."
Distiller's Notes
"Trago Silver is crystal clear and smooth, with a clean agave taste. With a
slightly spicy, smoky flavor, and hints of pepper, citrus, mint and herbal
aromas, Trago Silver is the perfect base for any cocktail, such as a
Tragorita, Tragotini or mojito."

"A Merlot-dominated wine, but with enough tannin from Cabernet Sauvignon to
give structure. It is balanced, fresh, moving towards fruitiness, taking in
red berries, plums and bright final acidity along the way. ($14)

"The 2007 Pinot Noir has a refined nose with a more red fruit profile:
redcurrant, maraschino and raspberry. Good definition although it is a
little closed compared to others. The palate has very fine tannins, fleshy
and very well balanced with wild strawberry, raspberry and a touch of sous-bois.
Very refined and elegant on the finish. Feminine and wily. Another great
wine from the award-winning Wild Earth. Drink now-2012."
