Amber color. Fruity aromas and flavors of stewed peach, ripe melon, raspberry taffy, rose petals, turmeric, and caramel corn with a satiny, vibrant, dryish light-to-medium body and a warming, nuanced, long finish with impressions of nutmeg, cherry custard, and hints of dried herbs. A lively and outgoing Bourbon that sings with a mélange of ripe fruits and elegant spices.

Eagle Rare Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey is masterfully crafted and carefully aged for no less than ten years, each barrel is discriminately selected. The rareness of this great breed of bourbon is evident in its complex aroma, as well as the smooth and lingering taste. Each bottle of Eagle Rare offers consistent flavors, but with a seemingly individual personality from each unique barrel. Eagle Rare is a bourbon that lives up to its name with its lofty, distinctive taste experience.
Sweet candy shop, nougat, and honeycomb flavors are underscored by some funky earth and mushroom notes. The palate is sweet and lively, delivering orange peel and subtle hints of baking spice. Overall a pleasant pour, with the only criticism that it feels rather light-bodied, with the oak a bit sharp.
