100% Greco Bianco
The DOC Greco Bianco is one of the 10 denomination of Calabria with this certification. The denomination exists since the 80’s for the “Greco Bianco” vine. The DOC certification is reserved to those wines produced with at least the 95% of the Greco Bianco grapes. The remaining 5% comes from grapes allowed in Calabria and in particular in the Reggio Calabria province. The DOC area is very small. The grapes used for the production of the “Greco di Bianco DOC” have to be grown in the Bianco town and in part also in the Casignana town, both of them in the Reggio Calabria province.
