This is a classic Italian Rose from the Abruzzo region in central Italy east of Rome is made from organically grown Montepulciano.. This intense colored and bright rosé is made from 30+ year old vines grown at an altitute of 1200 feet. The wine is feremente and aged 6 months in steel tanks and then aged at least 3 months in the bottle. The nose has intense notes of strawberry and other red fruit stands with the final typical slightly almond aroma. The medium-bodied palate boasts fresh, tart red-berry, orange and herbal spice notes, with a long finish.
