Our nod to Italys famed Prosecco is a crowd pleaser every year.
Bollicine (tiny bubbles) is ripe with refreshing zest of tangerine and citrus with a touch of grapefruit on the nose and a lingering zing of sweet blood oranges on the finish. Pair this wine with fresh berry zabaglione, soft mixed greens with citrus vinaigrette and orange supremes, or simply on its own as an aperitif.
A blend of 59% Cayuga, 24% Damiani Sparkling Cuvée (34% Pinot Noir & 66% Chardonnay), 9% Chardonnay and 8% Pinot Meunier.
Damiani Wine Cellars celebrates the unique microclimate and dramatic landscape that is New York’s Finger Lakes. We cultivate several vineyards nestled along the eastern shores of Seneca Lake where we purposefully limit the amount of fruit per vine to achieve concentrated flavors, and work with other premier growers in the area to source the finest grapes each vintage. The results are award-winning wines that yield extraordinary complexity and finesse, wines showing distinct character and expression of the land.
Ripe yellow apple, pear and tangerine notes show brightly on the nose of this wine. Its frothy bubbles carry juicy fruit flavors that finish crisp and clean but short. Made predominately from Cayuga, this is an easy, crowd-pleasing sparkler. Alexander Peartree, 9/1/2018.
