M. Chapoutier Belleruche wines offer an exceptional everyday option from the talented winemaker Michel Chapoutier. Michel says making affordable high quality wines is one of his most difficult tasks. These wines offer an entry point into not only his portfolio, but also the world’s most celebrated wine appellation of Côtes-du-Rhône. Meaning “beautiful beehive” in French, the Belleruche name is inspired by the abundance of bee and beehives that prosper in the sustainable M.Chapoutier vineyards.
Plenty of crunchy red berries and cherries on the nose with dark cherries, dried thyme and peppercorns. Medium body with firm tannins. Juicy fruit at the center with structure and a vibrant core of peppercorns to the finish. Drink now.
Black raspberries, juicy cherries, peppery garrigue, and violet notes all emerge from Chapoutier's 2022 Côtes Du Rhône Belleruche, a medium-bodied, fleshy, balanced, straight-up delicious.
