100% Piedirosso, an indigenous red grape grown in volcanic soil on Mount Vesuvius at least since the 5th century B.C.E. It showcases the unforgettable taste of Campania and the mineralitry of the soils around Mount Vesuvius Cherries, plums, smoky violets, dried black olives, black pepper, and dense herbs are some of the many notes that take shape in the glass. Refined, polished tannins and bright, fresh acidity make this a lifting, juicy wine along the line of Etna Rosso, Red Burgundies, Ciro's from Calabria and Lagrein and Teroldego from Alto Adige to mention a few.
