From the higher altitudes of the Trentino DOC in northeastern Italy, Muller Thurgau was first made in the late 1800's by crossing Riesling and a Swiss grape called Chasselas. Fresh, fruity and aromatic, with hints of grapefruit and bright citrus. This is a light, easy going white that was all stainless steel fermented and aged, never seeing any oak. Great with lighter dishes, seafood or to quaf all on its own.
