The "Montegradella" is a Valpolicella Classico Superiore that made from the classic Corvina and Corvinone (70%) and Rondinella (30%) grapes. After picking the grapes are left to dry for 40-45 days on mats.
This Valpolicella is sitting between the very drinkable, lighter Valpolicella Classico and its bigger full-bodied brother Amarone.
The wine is a full-bodied expression and character, which aromas of fruit in alcohol, red fruit jam, aromatic spices, vanilla and some hints of balsamic nuance. On the palate the wine is dry, well balanced and full-bodied with soft tannins showing flavours of cherries, blueberries and some barrique notes mixed with spices and cinnamon.
