This wine is made from vines planted in 1950. Trimmed in the traditional Guyot system, there are 4000 vines per hectare yielding between 40 and 60 (quintali / 100kg) annually. It is produced using exclusive must after soft pneumatic pressing and cold steeping for 48 hours. It is aged for 6 months in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and bottle aged for an additional 3 to 4 months prior to release. It is straw yellow in color with a floral nose and bright vegetation. On the palate the wine is round with balanced acidity. Those who have had Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay will find this wine to be in between the two as it is medium bodied and very food friendly. Crisp finish. Serve at (45-55F).
