A surprising blend of luscious Riesling and Bavarian-style brew, this wine is replete with sweet fruit and deep malt flavors. Have chilled cans of this warm-weather winner on hand for barbecues, laid-back afternoons and summer picnics.
This is a Bavarian-inspired “radler”, built on the shoulders of Oregon Riesling. (Radler translates to cyclist in German). Think of it as English-style shandy that uses Riesling rather than beer, and yet the ingredients in the Underwood Radler include hops, grapefruit and sea salt. They all come through with a refreshing beer-like spritz to easily deal with the residual sugar, and the low-alcohol finish is reminiscent of a ginger beer.
